Refund policy
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original branded packaging (if applicable).
- Proof of purchase in the form of an order # we can reference, or receipt.
To start the return process, contact us at info@wearsthemountain.com. Please include:
GIFT EXCHANGE (please include as much of the below details as possible):
- Your name
- Order #
- Name of person you received the gift from
- Date you received the gift
- Email used at time of purchase
- Let us know the replacement item, size, and color you would like - OR - you can also request store credit.
PERSONAL ORDER EXCHANGE:
- Name on order

- Email address associated with order
- If your product is damaged, please include a picture or 2
- If package was damaged in transit, please include a picture or 2

We review customer emails Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays. We aim to respond to all return requests within 2 business days, if not sooner.
Instructions on how and where to send your package will be emailed your way.
The cost of return shipping is determined by the following:
- Exchange or return of damaged or defective products: Shipping costs will be covered by Wears The Mountain, and a return label will be provided.
- Exchange or return due to personal preference: Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as special orders or customized items, unless defective or damaged. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.
Refunds
Upon receipt of returned items, refunds are automatically applied to the original payment method and a receipt will be sent to the email corresponding to the original purchase. If you prefer a store credit, please notify us in advance. Remember, it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, so please allow 5 business days from the date of return receipt to contact Wears The Mountain or your banking institution.
